Elizabeth Laws
Elizabeth is an experienced speech language pathologist with a background in private practice and in the more consultative role of Language Disorder Australia's School Support Services. As part of the School Support Services team, Elizabeth has spent the last seven years travelling to schools around Queensland to meet and collaborate directly with principals, learning support staff and classroom teachers to support their students with Language Disorder. She is passionate about understanding the 'whole student', taking into account their social-emotional needs and ability to access the curriculum. Elizabeth has worked closely with educators, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and psychologists throughout her working life, and greatly values a multidisciplinary approach to helping students achieve success.
Nicole Lindgren
Nicole, a highly accomplished educator, has experience across various school sectors and specialises in early-years development, literacy instruction, and inclusive education. With a Graduate Certificate in Special Education and a Master of Autism Studies, she continuously seeks evidence-based insights and educational research. As a member of the Language Disorder Australia School Support Services team, Nicole collaborates with speech pathologists, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to support Queensland schools to enhance the learning outcomes for children and young people with Language Disorder. Beyond her commitment to student success, Nicole is passionate about adult learning, fostering collaboration among educators and professionals.
