Meg is an experienced speech pathologist at Language Disorder Australia, currently working in the School Support Services team. She is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of people with Language Disorder and language difficulties. Meg has a particular interest in language development and supporting people with Developmental Language Disorder and their families. Meg has worked collaboratively with educators, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, families and students to build a shared understanding and foster strong systems of support around her clients and students. Meg has also created and presented a number of modules and webinars which can be found on the Language Disorder Academy. She enjoys presenting to schools and organisations, supporting them to deepen their understanding of Language Disorder and implement practical, real-world change. Meg is passionate about raising awareness of Language Disorder and advocating for inclusive, responsive practice that enables all to thrive. 

Athena is a Senior Speech Pathologist and Senior Manager at Language Disorder Australia, with over 10 years’ experience working across assessment, intervention, and systems-level support for children and young people with Language Disorder. She leads the School Support Services program and is a member of the Executive Team, supporting schools and educators to better understand and respond to language as the foundation for learning, participation, and achievement. Across her career, Athena has developed a strong interest in the intersection of language, learning, and inclusion. She is passionate about bridging clinical knowledge and classroom practice, helping schools translate assessment insights into meaningful, evidence-based strategies that make a real difference for students. Her work spans program design, professional learning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and strategic oversight to ensure alignment between service delivery, organisational goals, and impact. As a leader, Athena values collaboration, excellence, accountability, and respect, and is committed to fostering a culture of reflective practice, professional growth, and shared purpose. She also oversees the development of the Language Disorder Academy, expanding access to on-demand learning and webinars for educators and professionals nationally and internationally.
