Welcome to part two of our two-part webinar series on writing. Part two, Writing - The How, translates theory into classroom practice, exploring how to deliver writing instruction more explicitly and effectively. Following on from Part 1 - The What and Why, this session focuses on practical resources, tools and classroom strategies to support all students, especially those with Language Disorder, to become successful writers. These strategies are discussed through the lens of the schoolwide instructional framework for teaching writing developed by the Australian Education Research Organisation (AERO).
  • These recorded webinars explore the theoretical frameworks underpinning writing instruction and how these have evolved and changed over the years. They dive into the relationship between spoken and written language as well as exploring practical tools and strategies to support all students, including those with Language Disorder throughout the writing process. These webinars support staff working with both Primary and Secondary aged students across curriculum learning areas.
